We're changing our dental benefit manager
On January 1, 2025, we're changing our dental benefit manager — the organization we use to manage your dental benefits — to DentaQuest. We're united by our missions and will work together to improve your access to the highest quality care in the right setting. As we move forward with this transition, we want to make sure you're informed and feel supported.

We'll mail you a new member ID card for 2025
We'll mail your new card — which works as your Aspirus Health Plan member ID card and your dental ID card — to you in the next few months. Bring it to your first dental care visit in 2025 so they can update your information.
You'll have access to an extensive network of dental care providers
Many members will be able to keep their dentists. DentaQuest is also adding new providers to their network all the time. Confirm that your dentist will be in our network or find a new provider using our search tool.

After rigorous review, we selected DentaQuest because of our shared mission to provide purpose-driven care, their nationwide provider network and their extensive experience as one of the largest benefit managers in the country.
A dental benefit manager is a third-party administrator of dental benefit plans that provides access to care through a network of providers and access points. These organizations also help negotiate costs and payments between dental care providers and health insurance companies.
The change to a new dental benefit manager will mean few to no changes for many members, as they offer a similar dental care provider network. If you're going to be affected by the change, we’ll let you know by mail and we'll guide you through any action you need to take.
New member ID card
We'll mail your new card — which works as your Aspirus Health Plan member ID card and your dental ID card — to you in the next few months. Bring it to your first dental care visit in 2025 so they can update your information.
Dental provider network
As of Jan. 1, 2025, members will have access to an extensive network of dental care providers. Although the new dental benefit manager offers a similar dental care provider network, some members may experience a disruption in their dental care. If you’re going to be affected by the change, we'll let you know by mail and we'll guide you through any action you need to take.

Our new dental benefit manager offers a similar dental care provider network. You'll have access to an extensive network of dentists and dental care specialists including endodontists, oral surgeons, orthodontists, periodontists and more. Check that your provider is in network or find a new provider using our network search tool.
Use our network search tool to find in-network dental providers. You may also call the customer service phone number on the back of your member id card for help finding a dentist. Once you've chosen a new network dental provider, call them to transfer your records. Tell the provider you're a new patient and want to schedule an appointment.
